Please do not redraw the Road Safety Trust logo. Electronically sourced artwork should be used in all cases.
The minimum size that the Road Safety Trust logo should be reproduced at is 30mm wide. Any smaller and readability becomes an issue.
Ideally the logo should be given as much space as
possible, but when space is limited the following clear
space requirements should be used to ensure that the
Road Safety Trust logo is clearly recognised.
The minimum clear space around the Road Safety Trust logo is determined by the height of the words ROAD SAFETY in the logo (shown below as ‘x’).

The Road Safety Trust brand uses two colours:
When reproducing the logo in colours other than spot – such as CMYK or RGB – the following values apply.
AUBERGINE
Spot: PMS 7421
Process: C35 M100 Y60 K60
RGB: R85 G11 B36
HEX: #550B26
ORANGE
Spot: PMS 1665
Process: C0 M80 Y100 K0
RGB: R240 G90 B37
HEX: #F05A25
The Road Safety Trust logo should generally appear in full colour.
The Road Safety Trust logo is ideally printed in two spot colours wherever possible. When unable to print in spot colour, CMYK versions of the logo should be used for colour consistency.
This treatment should only be used on white/light coloured backgrounds.
The greyscale version is used in black and white printing.
The black version is used in black and white printing and newsprint when dot-gain is an issue.
Reversed out white logo is used on a dark colour or image.

Do not separate the ‘cross’ from the text, move the text or use an incomplete logo.
(NOTE: There are times when the ‘cross’ may be used on its own, see THE ‘CROSS’ section below right.)
For example:
Do not change the colour balance of the Road Safety Trust logo, other than those specified in “Logo Colour Usage”.
For example:
Do not stretch, distort or angle the Road Safety Trust logo in any way.
For example:
There are times when the ‘cross’ may be used on its own as a graphic device to add visual interest – see page 4 for examples.
NOTE: When the ‘cross’ device is used on its own the full logo must appear in the document.
The ‘cross’ device is NOT a substitute for the logo.

When using the Road Safety Trust logo in conjunction with other logos ensure that the clear space and minimum logo size is considered (refer to page 1).
Keep the Road Safety Trust logo to similar proportions of the other logos it is used with.
Keep the logos aligned with each other.
Keep hierarchy in mind when sizing logos.
The preferred placement of the Road Safety Trust logo, when placed with multiple logos, is bottom right hand corner.
Do not use the full colour logo on a dark or patterned background opt for the reversed out logo instead (see page 2 for logo colour usage).
For example:

The two main typefaces used in Road Safety Trust communication are Eurostile and Conduit ITC.
