The Road Safety Trust is a Crown established charitable trust that funds non-government organisations to deliver high quality community-based road safety projects.
The Trust has recently reviewed its future direction and is looking to work closely with a few national or large regional community-based organisations to develop three to five high impact initiatives that will make a significant contribution to addressing one or more of the Safer Journeys areas of concern.
Selection criteria are yet to be finalised but will include leveraging community support and potentially private sector sponsorship and resources. The ability to begin implementing the initiative during 2012 will also be important.
More information on the grant criteria and request for proposal (RFP) process will be available shortly.
